KasaiNath Hill:
Sited near Ambeli village (approx. 3 kms away from city) is  historic and very attractive to watch around and very pleasant place for picnic. Many floras and faunas like tigers, monkeys, snakes found in this region. People visit this place in the  Marathi month of Shravan & is considered as holy place. It is believed that “Pandavas” relocated for some days at this point when they were asked to hideout (“Adnaytwas”) for 14 years.

Tilari Dam:
Situated in Tilari Village (25 kms away from city) is constructed on river Tilari as joint project by Maharashtra & Goa governments. Water from this dam is dispersed to both the states. The total irrigation potential of the Tilari irrigation project in Goa is 1862 hectare comprising 1139 hectare on the right bank main canal and 723 hectare on the left. But as on March 2009, only 301 hectares have been brought under cultivation on the right bank main canal and 165 hectares on the left bank main canal. Area is well covered with greenery & animals like Elephants,Monkeys,Tigers,Deers can be easily noticed in this region. People from Goa & Karnataka often visit here over the weekends & vacation. Efforts are being made to build garden here in order to make Tilari an eye-catching tourism spot.

Mangeli waterfalls:
Approximately 30 kms away from city is of the picturesque spot in Dodamarg taluka.Waterfalls are 10m long are surrounded by mesmerizing hilly regions. Mangeli waterfall is a popular spot for one day picnic.     

Tervan Medhe temple:
Tevran Medhe temple is another holy place in taluka. It is one of the prominent temples in Dodamarg and is the point of pilgrimage for the followers of Lord Shiva. The temple is greatly packed during Mahashivaratri festival.
